Lamar J. Smith took the stage name “JusLove!” as a reflection of his love and dedication to music as well as a reminder of how he should strive to live life. Born and raised in Chicago, Smith is a producer, multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter, and sound engineer. He is also part of the group, Daily Lyrical Product. The hip-hop duo released their album, “Grown”, in 2015. Smith is the group’s primary producer. The other half of DLP, Nate Marshall, shares writing and mic duties.

Smith has worked with many Chicago artists over the years including  Vic Mensa,  Nico Segal,  Jamila Woods,  Jonathan McReynolds,  Noname, and many more. Smith has also performed with a host of other Chicago (and Chicago-affiliated) artists such as Chance The Rapper, Lupe Fiasco, Jeff Tweedy, Rhymefest and more.
